Prejudice are known for their necksnapping progressive brutal deathmetal style, and throughout 13 years of extensive live-playing has won the name of the Belgian "Vader". Now - with Def & Tuni on their new customized Regius guitars and Greco on Patriot bass they do live-kick asses even harder.

Some say Prejudice is the most brutal and hard-working band in Belgian death metal underground. Formed in 1993 by Def (guitars), the band has forged themselves a path through constant improvement in the song-writing/recording, a solid live reputation through awe-inspiring gigs & rigorous touring schedules. Meanwhile, the continual touring has won them the Belgian Vader tag from fans and critics alike (Vader is a Polish deathmetal giant, with their Bass-player - Novy - also using Mayones bass). The band shared tours & stages together with world-known metal combos, like Six Feet Under (Us), Krisiun (BR), Testament (US), Vader (PL), Immortal (NO), Hypocrisy (SE), Decapitated (PL). Malevolent Creation (US), and lots of others.

Def / Prejudice with Regius-7 Custom Guitar |
Both Prejudice guitar-players chose themselves Regius-7 guitars / customized by EMG (1 HB pickup only) + just 1 volume Q-parts knob, custom colors and markers. Def's transparent graphite black Regius has the Ebony fingerboard outlined with Prejudice logotype engraved between 11-13 frets. Tuni's transparent ocean-blue guitar fratures his own name inlayed on the 12th fret.
Bass-player Greco (aka Charlie Low 5-string) settled for a Patriot Custom-5 bass in transparent black color, equipped with Bartolini pickups and Aguilar active preamp + 5 potentiometres knobs (Q-parts) - control volume, balance, midddle, bass & treble. The instrument comes also with a musician's nickname on the 12th fret - engraved directly in the fingerboard and filled with acrylic pearl.
Players opinions:
Def / Prejudice (Belgium) - Regius-7 Custom
This Axe Kills - Period! The artificial and natural harmonics jump right out effortlessly, and the distortion the EMG gets is second to none. No noise, buzzing or feedback. This guitar stays in tune like nothing else I have ever owned. As far as manufacturing - the routing is great, very straight and the pickups and hardware are all mounted properly, straight and tight. I play hard, so my axes need to put up with my abuse. and who’s talking about a 7-string? This beauty plays nothing less then a 6-string!!! Excellent hand-built perfection.
Besides, I would not lend my name on a piece of shit... I have been playing for 15 plus years. I have owned several types, brands and makes of guitars, and been a self proclaimed diehard Ibanez man for as long as I can remember. This guitar simply buries the competition. This axe is exactly what I expected. I just love my freaking Regius-7, and if anyone were to steal it, I would hunt them down and go Primal Concrete sledge on the thief. I love everything about this guitar and will be adding it to my collection with pride. Nothing but Mayones for me for the rest of my life. Nothing compares to this axe. Period.

Tuni / Prejudice (Belgium) - Regius-7 Custom
The things I looked for here - were kick ass tone, playability, clarity, sustain and killer looks, and well.. I got it all with my Regius 7-string. Mayones combined all of these things and managed to create a guitar as I wanted it to be: not too many features, so simple and to the point. The guitar looks heavy, but very lightweight in real and a nice thin neck allows more comfort during riffing and soloing. Actually my feeling is same as Def's - this 7-string plays as easy and effortless as a 6-string!
Although fitted with an EMG with lots of output, the guitar retains its clarity. There is no muddyness like with previous guitars I owned and this ensures that all your notes, no matter what position your amps gain knob is, are heard perfectly. That’s definitely a big plus for us, being a technical deathmetal band. During soloing however, the EMG makes this "Beast" howl Like a Demon, believe it!
Apart from that, this guitar has really the look and FEEL of a custom instrument. The body wood is beautiful, and as for my customized colour - I love looking at it! This axe looks killer... And plays even better!!

Greco / Prejudice (Belgium) - Patriot-5 Custom Bass
This bass is phenomenal. I spent a solid of week of trying it out everyday to have it sink in, and although we have all believed in the company from the beginning, I could not expect that Mayones had come out with such a wonderful instrument. The balance across all five strings is perfect and all frequencies are present in the sound of this bass. I can get just about any tone I want out of this bass except maybe a fretless... ha!
The whole bass is well put together and it fits like a glove. It is contoured perfectly, the finish is stunning, and the endless tones you can achieve are amazing. It is extremely easy to play. Easy reaching upper frets and doing complicated things. The sound is perfect. You can't even hear the strings hitting the frets. My opinion, this blows away any. It’s hard to find an excellent neck-through looking so fine! Do not believe it? Go out and try one!!!
