The votes from the artist jury have just arrived and we would like to congratulate Nicholas Llerandi on winning a Regius 7 Custom from Mayones Guitars Basses and all the finalists who have won a set of  Seymour Duncan  pickups. Most of all, we want to thank all of you who uploaded videos - there were so many great videos and talent that it makes it nearly impossible to choose any amount of winners.

CONGRATULATIONS!

A month ago Seymour Duncan launched a competition with Mayones Guitars and Basses, with special host Keith Merrow, to see what people could play over a backing track. The response was, well, overwhelming. Thousands of videos were uploaded and we watched and enjoyed every single one and want to thank all of you who uploaded a video. We quickly realized that picking just five finalists would not be enough, so we have expanded that to ten people who will be in the finals – nine of those players will win a set of our pickups and one lucky and extremely talented guitar player will win the Regius 7 Custom. So without further ado, here are the finalists:

The grand prize winner will be selected from these ten by February 1st by a panel of artists being put together.

 

 

Five finalists will be selected on or around January 20th. A panel of artists will select the winner by February 1st who will receive the grand prize Regius 7 guitar. The four finalists shall receive a set of Seymour Duncan pickups of their choice (excluding Custom Shop and Zephyr).

Rules: Contest open worldwide. Employees of Seymour Duncan (the Sponsor), Mayones or any of its subsidiaries, affiliates or agencies, or members of their immediate families, or persons living in same household of each, are not eligible to enter or win. Entrants under sixteen (16) years old must obtain parental consent before entering the contest. Such consent may be given via e-mail or regular mail to the Sponsor, which consent will be confirmed by the Sponsor. Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law. When shipping overseas, winner is responsible for any fees associated with taxes or customs. Winner agrees to allow their name and photo to be used for promotional purposes.
