Regius Elements Limited Series with Daniel Gildenlöw (Pain of Salvation)

Regius Elements is the name for a signature version of Mayones Regius Custom Guitar developed with help and inspiration of Daniel Gildenlow, leader and founder of Pain of Salvation – one of the leading groups in the progressive rock-metal world.

 

 

 

 

 

The concept behind Regius Elements is to adjust the usual Regius in correspondence to the 4 natural Elements of the Universe, with an appropriate "elemental" look and truly “universal” tonal capabilities. The first 4 upcoming models: Water, Earth, Air & Fire were issued in strictly limited number of copies according to the consequent solstice / equinox dates (each Element representing one phase of the year).

 

 

The 4 guitars, representing 4 natural elements of the Universe are followed by a 5th Element closing the cycle.  The character and specs of Regius Perfect was hidden by the veil of mytery for long. Finally, the secret is revealed...

The models feature the very same configuration as used by Daniel himself. "Our goal in this has been to create the best possible instrument - my dream-guitar if you wish. We have worked hard these past months, planning, making sketches, producing prototypes and, first and foremost; tried and tested and altered. Since we feel that we want to offer the customers an instrument without limitations or compromises, it was of utmost importance that the guitars felt 100% complete and done before the release; thus the delay of three months. In any case, I can say this: if you don't love this guitar, I am going to question your sanity in the direst of ways. It is simply awesome."
