The second appearance of our company at the most important music trade show of the New World was nothing but success. Especially considering that Mayones was one of the three Polish manufacturers and the only Polish guitar manufacturer among nearly 1400 NAMM exhibitors. Countless visitors, retailers, distributors, artists and other guitar enthusiasts fell in love with the beauty and sound of our instruments.
Our display included several guitars and basses including the esteemed neck-thru basses in Classic and Custom versions, limited edition of Regius and Setius guitars with 4A Flamed Maple top, intriguing Setius Gothic with Red graining.
The icing on the cake was our tribute guitar to one of the most important musicians in the history of Polish music, Fryderyk Chopin. The instrument was introduced especially for the International Chopin Year, the 200 Anniversary of birth of this magnificent composer. This exclusive instrument features custom painting with Chopin profile and signature and "Piano keyboard" inlays in the maple fingerboard.
Mayones and Rock Box stand hosted the presentation of several musicians presenting the sound capabilities of our guitars and basses. Mayones booth would not be the same without Wojtek Pilichowski, whose riveting shows are an inseparable part of our trade show schedule. "Pi" and his signature basses was also to be found at several other stands, including Ashdown Engineering.
Beside Wojtek, we had a chance to watch several US artists playing Mayones guitars, including Chuck Daloia, Lindsey Boultt and the guitarist for the legendary Danger and Danger, Rob Marcello.
We couldn't imagine better return to the NAMM Show and we would like to thank our US representative, Chris from Rock Box, for his commitment to bring Mayones instruments to American fans.
We had a great time in California and hope you feel the same. Stay Mayo and see you next year!
