This was the 13th consecutive time our company presented its instruments at MusikMesse in Frankfurt am Main. Our booth offered a wide array of products - over 50 guitars and basses of all models in every possible finish. Among others, two new bass lines from our Custom Shop and a new guitar series, which proved to be nothing but success.
Musikmesse witnessed some original new finish options for both Setius and Regius models. The Setius line included innovative Setius 6 Dive Bomb and Setius 6 Dive Bomb X-Trem guitars with 26 and 36 frets and slanted 7 string pickups for better bottom response. For the Gothic family we add the Setius Gothic Slime finish with poisonous green Ash graining.
The list of novels for the Regius series opens The Chopin Tribute - an exceptional instrument issued to celebrate 200th Anniversary of birth of this amazing composer. Regius Nocturn is accompanied by Industrial Aluminium, Newspaper and Wooden Tartan finishes meticulously crafted by our Custom Shop builders and Worn Denim as an extension of the standard colour pallet.
Following the fashionable trend for Vintage instrument we presented our proposition for the old time enthusiasts. The three prototypes of Mayones Legend series drew attention of all the regular visitors and newcomers to our stand. The new guitar series will be available in sales by September 2010.
The Mayo bass lovers should not be disappointed as well - our Custom Shop section prepared several off beat Custom Bass instruments and two totally new limited bass series: Sonorious and Caledonius.
Mayones booth hosted numerous guests from all over the World: our representatves from Austria, Benelux, Switzerland, Spain and Japan, endorsers from Within Temptation, Stream of Passion, Cardamon or Dial and many others who wished to feel how it is to be the part of May-family for this little while.
Among all the artists who visited our stand we couldn't miss Wojtek Pilichowski, who traditionally presented his abilities to show what Mayones basses are capable of. This year Wojtek and his two band mates, beside well known tunes, promoted songs from Wojtek's latest album Fair of Noise.
In this Chopin Anniversary year we couldn't resist to show you some modern adaptations of his excellent works. Rock Loves Chopin project was presented by our new endorser, Radek Chwieralski - the man behind the arrangements, the guitar playing and the production of this intriguing album.
We feel Musikmesse 2010 has never been better before and hope this positive trend will continue with the following events. See you there next year!
