Roo

Roo is a French musician/ producer based in Helsinki, Finland. He started to play guitar in the early 90's at age 15 under Satriani’s musical influence. He graduated from MUSIC ACADEMY INTERNATIONAL (former C.M.C.N-France) at 20. Solo artist, session guitarist, featuring guitar instructor at guitarmasterclass.net & Shred Academy. Has released several guitar methods including one instructional DVD "Creative Shred" and one instrumental solo album: "Guitar without a Cause".

Roo's music style incorporates influences from rock, funk fusion to power metal and country while mixing techniques such as tapping, sweeping and chicken picking. Roo has performed live in France, Finland and Estonia. (Roo is a featured instructor at MAY school workshop)

I play instrumental rock music, mixing tones and influences from Funk to Power Metal. I like both lead and rhythm guitar, clean and loud. m very demanding an even annoying regarding the instrument playability. Mayones interested me by fulfilling two essential issues, top quality and custom specs.

The Setius has a smooth fast neck, not too flat not too big. The medium jumbo Ferd Wagner frets are great to play. It is a top class instrument that allows to express a wide range of styles and tones. The well balanced ergonomic body delivers a full and warm tone that take the most of any amp. It's a joy to practice and records hours during with it.

On stage I play cool and loose without thinking about the guitar anymore. I especially enjoy the Tune-o-matic, strings-thru-body bridge, easy to adjust and fast to restring guitar, the ebony fingerboard and the push-pull pot splitting humbucker into singles.  I am often sceptical about guitars but Mayones is definitely pro gear I can rely on. I play Stan Hinesley (US) custom pickups in S-S-H config. I'd like to mention thought the excellent hard shell shipped with the guitar that can endure all abuses... Mayones rocks \m/
