Although their roots grown deeply in Death metal style, the band have also developed their own and more commercial form of this extreme genre. The formation is now during the recording session for their new. "I have just begun tracking the guitars for our new album." - says Jakob Batten, band's guitarist - "It's a pleasure to work with it - thanks to my two new Mayones friends."
Since the beginning of the 90's Illdisposed have been one of the top bands of the Nordic Death metal scene. Over the years their success has not just been restricted to the Metal scene: with their 2004 Roadrunner debut "1800-Vindication" they entered the official Danish album charts at ... 85 which made the group the first Death metal band with such a high chart entry in the national charts. The video to "Still Sane" was the most wanted metal video on VIVA Plus for 2 weeks and the track "Dark" was featured on the soundtrack to the horror blockbuster "SAW".

Even the mid-tempo tracks are busting with sheer energy and a shock wave which like a bursting dam seems to run over the faster tracks. The experience gained from the production of 9 studio albums and the band's numerous shows in Denmark and other parts of Europe say it all: Illdisposed know what it's all about.
During the recording of the guitar lines for the new release, band's guitarist, Jakob Batten, used his new Mayones axes: Regius 6 Baritone and Setius GTM. Jakob got in touch with our company via our Danish distributor and after a quick chat decided to go in for the endoresement deal. "My first impression when I saw my two new guitars was 'hey, they look too good for me!' Every little detail is so perfectly taken care of. That's good workmanship!"
Apart from the standard features, both his guitars were delivered with black monolith top, Seymour Duncan SH-4 and SH-1 pickups and musician's name inscripted in the Mother of Pearl rectangle marker at XII fret. "The neck is perfect and the sound is HEAVY and BIG. The first time I played my Regius live I just felt at home." claims Jakob and adds: "I have just begun tracking the guitars for our new album. It's a pleasure to work with it - thanks to my two new Mayones friends."
Not just scene experts should have recognised the name Illdisposed as a firm synonym for "finest metal quality" by now and the upcoming album will hit even the last hillbilly which most certainly will secure the Danes the top position of the European metal scene!
Currently Jakob is using 5 customized Mayones axes: Setius GTM 6 with Trans Black Burst top, Regius 6 Baritone in Trans Black finish, Monolith White Setius GTM 6 and Regius 6 and his newest asset - patriotic Setius GTM 6 with Danish flag placed on the guitar body and headstock.
