Ronny Blylod is a Swedish guitar player for JustAQuickStop and Planet Storm, known as well for his works for Eternia and Destynation. Ronny uses three Mayones Setius PRO 6 guitars.
Ronny's Setius PRO Custom guitar features a new color option, with both body & back coming in monolith white + black binding around... all that contrasted by the black headstock. The guitar has been also equipped with black back electronic and bridge covers.
Ronny comments: "When I first opened the case I couldn't believe my eyes. There it was, more beautiful than I could ever imagine. The extraordinary whiteness in the guitar almost blinded me. I picked up the guitar and held it like a baby. It's more than just a guitar. The weight - perfect, perfectly balanced, everything perfect. It just laid there on my lap, waiting for some serious shredding!
And what a guitar! It's so easy to play. The fingers are flying across the fingerboard like it was molded right into my hands. The fat and massive sound from the Schaller pickups really amazed me. It's so edgy, sharp, distinct and at the same time warm and beautiful... Maybe it's in some kind of magic symbiosis with the Mahogany body? Perfect for both rythm & solo shredding, and also so versatile in the sound. Blues, rock, metal - you name it. Definately works with all the styles. Am I satisfied with it? It's the best damn guitar I've ever had." he states.
I've been playing guitar for about 17 years and have tried a lot of guitars through the years. The reason to this is that I never found a guitar I was completely satisfied with. The only one that stuck with me for more than a coupple of years was a Ibanez JEM555, I had it for nearly 10 years.
When I tried my first Setius I used the same amp settings to compare the sound to my JEM555. I first played the Ibanez and then switched to the Setius, plugged it in and WOW!!!!! Holy hell....I couldn't believe my ears. It was like everything was set to TURBO!
And it played just as nice and smooth, incredibly versatile and easy to play.
I sold my old JEM555 and bought 2 more Setius axes. Kind'a says it all.
