A technical diverse style guitarist, mostly active in the German rock-metal scene. Author of 3 solo albums and contributor to bands like Orphan Hate, Maarja-Band, Graaf... Rooky is one of the first official worldwide endorsers for Mayones brand new Setius GTM 7 guitar.

7-stringed Setius GTM for Rooky has been built in standard wood, hardware and electronic setup with DiMarzio Evolution pickups, but has meanwhile been enhanced by outstanding red LED dots in place of the standard dot-markers, except fret no. 12, where a subtle acrylic nickname of the player has been engraved in the fingerboard.

"Honestly I've never heard about MAYONES before, but it changed at the Music Fair this year…", says Rooky. "I was looking for an 'eyecatcher' – which was pretty hard to find. There were such a few good looking guitars there... My goal for Musikmesse 2006 was also to get an endorsement - and here again - it seemed like the companies are not at all interested in cooperation with upcoming musicians, who do not sell millions of records... yet... :o)"

"Then I saw Mayones stand and I was abuzz! Not only that every guitar is an eyecatcher by itself, but also their marketing guys (in the case Piotr, I talked to) are really open minded for cooperation with musicians… which is so rare now by the way!!"

"Back home we negotiated a good price for my first custom guitar - and I was really excited when I finally received the parcel… and well, I have to say that Setius is the best manufactured and playable guitar I have ever had!"

"Another cool thing is also that when ordering - you have the choice what the guitar is gonna look like. I've chosen a standard transparent black color, but the company made me a special marker on the 12th fret with my own nickname, and... remembering one bad experience from the past, when it was so f*** dark on stage that I played one of the worst solos ever... I told them that I 'need to have' the LED dots on the fretboard. And... I will not have that kind of problems any more :o)

Of course - the list of Setius cool features is 'thousands of euro/dollars longer ;o)… but why talk about that.… Go and check the guitar out, and you won`t regret!"

"It all began with the idea to have "real" drummers playing on my next record." - Rooky explains the origins of the new album - "On the previous two of my albums, I just programmed the drums, but you all know how it sounds like and what I mean with "feeling". After writing a few songs I was wondering who could play the stuff I just wrote…!?" Thanks to MySpace community, it is no longer a problem - Rooky contacted several musicians from different bands and after three years of intensive work was self-released in Fall 2007.

In 2010, surrounded with team of finest European musicians, Rooky presents 10 new diverse rock/metal tunes to present his concept of modern progressive music. The "On the move" guest line up include Curt Biquera (dr), Dave Anania (dr), Sascha Neuhartd (b), Ricky Garcia (g), Goran Vujic (b), Ingo Bischof (key), Bettina Schoch (voc), Florian Kern (dr), Björn Sypitzki (b), Piero Pellegrino (g), Felix Mühle (dr), Oliver Moses (b)and Steven Vega (voc). This is a must-have for all guitar lovers out there.

Recently Rooky formed a new female fronted metal band called POISED. The formation enters a studio to record their latest creation in July 2010 so expect some more new soon!
