The Swedish Gothenburg band One Without is the result of taking “The Gothenburg Metal Sound” and implement it into a fusion of metal, rock and pop, making the sound incomparable and fresh.
“The idea has never been to sound like any other specific band, instead we try to focus on making all ideas count, bringing forth a new and fresh sound tracing back to influences of hundreds of other bands.”
Formed in 2003 by Joonas Niskanen, the band has grown and evolved into a truly unique form with most of their strength lying in the line up.
“We always work as a team, but we still bring out the individuality of each member as much as we possibly can, which is what makes us able to create the sound we have.”
“Thoughts of a Secluded Mind”, the debut album by ONE WITHOUT, was released by German Lifeforce Records in 2009 in North-America, Europe and Japan. Since the release of “Thoughts of a Secluded Mind”, One Without has toured Europe on three different occasions with the bands Evergrey, Katatonia and The Genitorturers.
One Without has also performed at several festivals around Europe, performed live in Swedish national radio, received tons of great reviews, has been interviewed and featured in numerous magazines and radio shows all over the world and shared stages with bands like Soulfly, Epica, Doro, Krypteria, Paradise Lost, Carpark North, Sister Sin, Within Y, All Ends and Marionette.
Their new album is titled “SWEET RELIEF” was released on 29th of April WORLD-WIDE. “SWEET RELIEF” was mixed by Mattias Wänerstam (Avatar, Within Y, Suicide Nation) and mastered by Dragan Tanaskovic at Bohussound (Mustasch, Europe, In Flames, Evergrey). Artwork was made by Gustavo Sazes of Abstrata Art and Design.

We feel that we don’t want to “give” away our songs to a record label so that they can squeeze every little penny out of our fans, money that we never get to see anyway. Then we would just rather give it to our fans for free!”
ONE WITHOUT will let everyone download the upcoming album “SWEET RELIEF” TOTALLY FREE from their website at the 29th of April. www.onewithout.com. The album will be released through the own label “OW Productions” and will also be available for purchase at all the bigger music-stores online, like iTunes, Amazon etc.
We're happy to inform you that the forming member and the guitar player of the band, Joonas, has inked an endorsement deal with our company. Joonas order for himself a customized Regius 6 Gothic with the new EMG 81X pickups set and the band logo placed around the 12th fret.
I can't find words that describes the feeling I had when I first opened the case and saw the guitar for the first time, I was blown away of how much nicer it looked in real life, when looking at pictures a couple of months.
When I picked up the guitar from the case and played few tones, it felt like I always played the guitar, so easy and comfortable to play. And not to mention the quality and sound... This instrument is so beautiful and well built and it sounds amazing!
After the first gig I played with my Regius I laughed of how easy, comfortable and different it was to play, compared to every other guitar I have ever played with, I couldn't be more satisfied.
I'm so happy and proud to be a part of the MAYO family. One thing that I'm sure of is that this is definitely not my last guitar from Mayones. A BIG THANX to everyone at the factory and also the rest of the guys at MAYONES for a really great job, THANX!
