WITHIN TEMPTATION (NL)

The symphonic rock/metal group established in 1996, now acclaimed as the Holland's best internationally known band. After releasing "The Heart of Everything" in 2007 and headlining tour across Europe, both Americas and Japan, the star of WITHIN TEMPTATION shines brigher than ever before. Band's guitar player, Ruud Jolie, is a devoted May-player owning several our instruments.

 

 

 

 

Ruud, as an addicted May-fan, owns four Mayones guitar: Setius GTM T-BLU, Setius GTM 7 T-BLK, Regius 6 T-BLK and Regius 7 VINE-RED with GraphTech piezo system.

Ruud's first choice is a standard Setius GTM-7 with the front of the guitar painted in transparent black and the back in a natural wood color. Body finished in gloss and neck in matt lack, black hardware. Mayones 7-stringed Setius comes in a fixed bridge version with strings through its Mahogany body and bolt-on Mahogany-Maple neck. The guitar is equipped in standard with DiMarzio Evolution pickups (neck + bridge set).

Ruud comments: "The guitar looks really cool! It already looked very nice on the Internet pics, but in real life - it's even nicer. It's not too light-weight, which is great - because then, you really have the idea that you're holding something in your hands :-). The frets are very smooth, and if you ask me for the sound - well, my answer is: it's surely not my last Setius! The rest you can tell for yourself..."

Awarded 3 times in a row with the Conamus Music Export Prize (as the most successful Dutch artist in foreign countries), World Music Award, Pop Prize (for a group that has contributed the most to Dutch pop music), The Edison Award (best national act), TMF Award (best national rock band), and many others, WITHIN TEMPTATION has already crossed a magical numer of 1.500.000 copies of their internationaly acclaimed albums & DVDs. After their latest releases, 'The Heart of everything' LP and 'The Black Symphony' DVD, and successful headlinig tours across Europe, both American continents and Japan, the star of WITHIN TEMPTATION shines brigher than ever before.

Ruud is currently busy with his side projects, including his own "For All We Know", with contribution of our other famous endorser, Kristoffer Gildenlöw (Dial, ex-Pain of Salvation), Wudstik (Ayreon) and John Wesley (Porcupine Tree). In a post on his Myspace blog, Ruud said "I decided to call it that because I think that name raises all the questions that don't have immediate answers in an instant. And what is more interesting than searching for answers?"
