Aside of all predominating trends the 5 German guys from lower saxony present themselves refreshingly free from clichés. Whereas other bands routinely play faster, harder, louder MY INNER BURNING convince with brilliant melodies. Diversified metal with low tuned guitars meets female vocals sung powerful and sometimes sweet and soft like a breeze. Groovy rhythms meet catchy tunes that just won´t leave your ear. MY INNER BURNING managed to build up their own niche. Modern but not trendy, traditional but in no way old-fashioned.

Laying the foundation-stone in May 2008 Nik and Sauer recorded the first demo "Fuck you all" under the band name The Core. A bassist (Cliff) and a second guitarist and shouter (Deibl) was found quickly. The search for the perfect singer was a little bit more difficult and took time until November 2008. Then Becky joined the band and the demo could be made complete.

This demo rose in waves and after doing several shows in Germany the recordings for their first album took place in June/July 2009. In August the band decided to change their band name to MY INNER BURNING. After negotiating with different record companies the band finally signed a deal with CMM/SAOL in October, which released the self titled album on 13th November 2009.

In February 2010, the band went on a Greece tour which was a major success. Not one year has passed from the release of the debut album until the band signs a new record deal with Steamhammer/SPV. The release for the second album is set for March 2011.

We would be happy to inform that the new album of My Inner Burning was recorded using one of our guitars, a Setius GTM 6 Gothic, owned by Torsten Sauerbrey.

When I first opened the package I received I thought "Wow, what a high tech looking guitar case." And as I opened the case the guitar itself was even more beautiful. Just as I saw it on the photos, which made me fell in love with this guitar instantly. The sound is great, too. Pure aggression without being muddy. I really like the clarity coming from the EMG´s. The best thing on the Setius Gothic is I didn´t have to change a single thing on it. It has got all the features I wanted: Mahogany body, a natural non-lacquered longscale neck, EMG 81/85 pick-ups and a great finish that only Mayones guitars have. The bad thing is: Now I want another one....
