Knoerle Lothar (DE)

Lothar Knoerle is an experienced player, sound engineer, producer and guitar teacher from Germany. After years of playing in Coverbands with up to 300 overall played concerts he worked as a product specialist and sound designer for Native Instruments, presenting Guitar Rig 1+2 on workshops and music-fairs like Musikmesse Frankfurt and Namm Show L.A. Recently, Lothar turned more towards music and will guid you through the world of 7 stringed guitars on the very first ever Guitar Workshops dedicated for seven-string users and enthusiasts.

Lothar is currently writing and producing songs for his Solo-CD as well as beeing a member of the Francis Soto Band, who already hit top ten position on many usa-radiostations with the remake of Corey Hart´s 80´s remake "Sunglasses at night." The Francis Soto Band also has serious airplay all over Europe and is preparing Songs for the release of their long expected Metalapolis CD. L.K. Also cooperates with the Mayones R&D departement as an adviser.

Lothar is using 3 Mayones Setius Custom Models: a transparent red Floyd Rose Model, a white custom build Non Tremolo Model called: "Lady" and a transparent black 7 String Model with an inlluminated Capricorn sign on the fretboard. These 3 Models where used 100% for Live and more than 90% for all of L.K´s recording stuff.

Lothar has also been a music teacher for several years. Being aware of rising popularity of seven stringed guitars, he found out that there are not many on-line workshops created with seven string user in mind. Therefore, in cooperation with Mayones Guitars & Basses, he started a new, free on-line guitar workshops for seven stringed guitars which will be available at our website soon.
