LEGENDA AUREA (CH)

The foundation-stone of Legenda Aurea was laid in August of 2005, when Renato Trinkler and Martin Roth united to create a new band. Their idea was to bland Symphonic Metal with Opera chant. One month after the full line-up was completed the band released their first single, which may be found at famous „Heavy Metal Nation III” compilation.

 

 

 

 

During the recording of the debut album in August 2006 female vocalist, Melissa Derrer, leaves the band. Surprisingly fast a new voice was found in Claudia Hofer. Immediately the band resumed work on the debut album, which was released in 2007 titled "Sedna". This publication determined what Legenda Aurea is today: from calm, symphonical singing passages over brute riffs, virtuosic instrumental solos and intricate rhythms to the point of groovy, dragging basslines and fast speedmetal passages. Legenda Aurea has just confirmed the studio dates for the follow-up of "Sedna". The new album will be recorded with two Mayones axes: Regius 7 owned by Odilo von Ins and Elegance 5 played by Michael Herkenrath.

Killer axe Regius 7 for Odilo was also delivered with Flamed Maple top in transparent graphite finish, musician's name carved in Ebony fretboard and powered with DiMarzio pickups.

"I was stunned when I first opened the case of this beautiful guitar." describes his first touch with his Mayo - "The Maple top looks very classy in this nice finish, which turns from black to light grey, blue or even green, depending on the light angle. It looks even better than the pictures!"
