LEGENDA AUREA (CH)

The foundation-stone of Legenda Aurea was laid in August of 2005, when Renato Trinkler and Martin Roth united to create a new band. Their idea was to bland Symphonic Metal with Opera chant. One month after the full line-up was completed the band released their first single, which may be found at famous "Heavy Metal Nation III" compilation.

 

 

 

 

During the recording of the debut album in August 2006 female vocalist, Melissa Derrer, leaves the band. Surprisingly fast a new voice was found in Claudia Hofer. Immediately the band resumed work on the debut album, which was released in 2007 titled "Sedna". This publication determined what Legenda Aurea is today: from calm, symphonical singing passages over brute riffs, virtuosic instrumental solos and intricate rhythms to the point of groovy, dragging basslines and fast speedmetal passages. Legenda Aurea has just confirmed the studio dates for the follow-up of "Sedna". The new album will be recorded with two Mayones axes: Regius 7 owned by Odilo von Ins and Elegance 5 played by Michael Herkenrath.

The bass for Michael is our Elegance 5 model featuring Flamed Maple top, Ebony fretboard with Aryic inscription and all the rest that comes with our Custom Basses: Bartolini pickups, Aguilar electronics and Schaller hardware.
