INCARNATE (NL)

The sound of the Dutch band Incarnate could be described as a perfect blend of heavy hardcore and 90's thrashmetal. The group has been acclaimed as the new Promise from Zeeland (2006), released mini cd "A dark age of lies" and took part in several split and tribute albums. Currently the band is finishing the recording of their first full length album to be released in fall 2007. Recently, the guitarist of the band, Chris de Nood, has joined May-player family playing a customised Setius Gothic model.

Take the intensity and power of Hatebreed, the thrashing riffs of Slayer and the heaviness of Crowbar and you get a pretty good idea of what Incarnate is about. One year after the band was formed their self-released debut 5 song MCD "A dark age of lies" appears in the fall of 2004. No time wasted and in January 2005 Incarnate delivered some more brutality for a split CD on Wanted Recordings from Belgium. The split CD is titled "LMNT02 - Earth" and features Sets the Time (BE), Masakatsu (DE) and Incarnate (NL).

Soon thereafter the demo MCD "A dark age of lies" gets sold out. For the international re-release of this MCD Incarnate signs a deal with the German label Lucifer's Legions Records. February 2007 Incarnate appeared on the Integrity Tribute CD: Harder they Fall, released by Escapist Records from the USA. After numerous of international releases, Incarnate are currently working on a new album entitled "Embrace the horror". The release is planned for the fall of 2007.

By now Incarnate appeared on several international releases, played gigs in venues as the Melkweg, the Frontline, Dynamo, Musicon, Innocent, De Baroeg, and Incarnate played alongside bands like Gorefest, Sworn Enemy, 100 Demons, Born from Pain, King of Clubz, Do or Die, The Setup, Polluted Inheritance, Maroon, 37 Stabwoundz and many more. In addition, Incarnate won a regional band-competition and were crowned as the new Promise from Zeeland 2006 (Dutch: Zeeuwse Belofte 2006).

In spring 2007 band's guitarist, Chris de Nood, signed an endorsement deal with our company. Few weeks after he received his customized, one-and-only Setius Gothic with an exclusive ash top, Seymour Duncan Jazz/Jeff Beck pickups and QParts Skull knobs. For the first time ever Setius model has been made in full black matt finish, including ash top, mahogany body and mahogany/maple neck. No wonder it impressed his new owner from the very first look: "As I opened the case that came with the guitar, I found my new customized Setius GTM in gothic matt black finish. I was overwhelmed by its beauty, it just looked stunning. You could clearly see Mayones put a lot of time and effort in making this masterpiece!"

No mercy - just after Chris received his guitar it was tested on the battlefield: "I received the guitar just before a gig. It is always a bit strange to play a new guitar for the first time, however this Setius felt very familiar from the beginning. I immediately noticed the great playability and the natural feel. I also noticed the matt finish of the neck to be very comfortable, especially when hands get sweaty. In addition, the guitar it is not too light and not too heavy. It’s just perfect! The mahogany body and the ash top in combination with the Seymour Duncan humbuckers give me the definition I need. The sound is really powerful, aggressive and heavy, yet still very transparent." - said Chris afterwards and claims: "My Setius does everything I wished for, and it will definitely shape the sound of the upcoming Incarnate release."
