GUITARSNAKE (FR)

Nicolas "Guitarsnake" Notarianni was born to an Italian family. He first studied the cornet and then the trumpet at the age of 6 at the renowned conservatory. At the still young age of 9, he started playing guitar along with his brother. At age of 11, he repeatedly wore "The Extremist Tour 91" promotional T-shirt for Joe Satriani during his trumpet lessons which rather preoccupied his teacher.

 

 

 

 

At age of 12, he left the conservatory and discovered some of his greatest idols such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Van Halen and Nuno Bettencourt, Patrick Rondat. He passionatelly learned to play the guitar and in 2001 and he decided to devote to music and and study musicology.

He recorded his first solo album  "One Life Is Not Enough" in 2008. At the very same year Nicolas was invited by French artist & famous guitar player Patrick Rondat for the dedicated tribute on his album.

He is currently recording his second instrumental album along with his musicians, while he is also working with his childhood sweetheart Flora Nells (Pop Rock).

Nicolas is using two customized Regius PRO 6 guitars with DiMarizo AirNorton + D Sonic, custom acrylic position markers in two eye-catching colours: Dirty Brown Burst and Dirty Red Burst.
