COMMUNIC is a Norwegian metal band founded in March 2003. A mix of influences from the 80's and 90's metal scene and the different music approach of each member creates the unique sound hard to compare to just one other band.
The musical style of COMMUNIC is rich in both emotional depth and musical broadness and includes many elements from various metal genres. Catchy vocal melodies, thrilling bass and guitar lines colliding with power, thrash, progressive and a bit of doom and groovy metal. COMMUNIC consists of highly skilled musicians that deliver quality metal with variety and originality. The music has a progressive touch in some experimental form, yet easy to approach - quite moody, mellow and emotional.
Formed in 2003, the formation very quickly signed with the well-respected German label NUCLEAR BLAST. The band released 3 albums so far: "Conspiracy In Mind", "Waves Of Visual Decay" and "Payment Of Existence", all recorded in famous Danish Jacob Hansen Studio. After several European tours and well acclaimed longplays, the worldwide metal scene has a new exciting and forward-looking name to remember - COMMUNIC.
The demanding style of Communic licks requires tools with no compromises. And so is Regius "Sacrifice" prepared by our luthiers for Oddleif, band's guitarist and vocalist. The axe was built with eye-catching Ash top and powered with active EMG pickups. The guitar is adorned with Viking Cross markers and rectangle marker with SACRIFICE inscription.

"This guitar has everything that I ever looked for in a guitar - kick ass tone, playability, clarity, sustain and killer looks completes the deal." - describes his axe Oddleif - "And this is my first personal custom built for me. And the fact that I wanted a guitar that not everybody else is playing out there. This is a custom made after my specs and this guitar feels like it's bound to my soul. It's perfect, and now, a few months after it arrived in my hands - it has been with my side for some big festivals and concerts this summer and it totally rocks. On some of the gigs I didn't even bring a backup guitar, because I really felt that I could rely that it wouldn't break down, and I even trust that the strings won't break as long as they are fresh - and I have been right so far."

"When I first opened the case and played the guitar, it amazed me that it was so light weighted, and so easy to play that I actually needed some time to be friends with it. I only needed to do some small adjustments concerning that I wanted to tune it down to D and use a bit thicker strings so a bit of adjustments and then it totally felt right. Mayones managed to create the guitar as I wanted it to be, stripped down in features, so simple and to the point. The guitar looks ultra heavy, but not over the top on the cheesiness, a nice thin neck allows more comfort during riffing and soloing. Actually now I like doing solos again, I have always hated that."
