BEFORE THE DOWN, DOWN OF SOLACE (FI)

Tuomas Saukkonen (Finland) is the man behind Before The Dawn and its sister-project Dawn of Solace. Tuomas has got his own tatoo markers on his Setius GTM custom guitar. Before The Dawn was founded in the heat of the summer of 1999, originally as a solo project of Tuomas. The band plays melodic metal with a gothic touch. Recently BTD released their third full-length album.

Tuomas chose for himself the Setius GTM model painted in monolith black. Starting with his cutom chosen options, that is: Seymour Duncan's SH-4 pickup, volume + tone controls (incl. coil-splitting) and Ebony fingerboard... and finishing at his own face tatoo inspired custom inlays, recent BTD album title "The Ghost" inscripted on the trussrod cover and the neck humbucker slot left intentionally empty... -Tuomas ordered one of the most customized Mayo Setius GTM models ever. Overall visual effect was additionally enhanced by the Q-parts 'Celtic Weave' knobs.

Convinced by the quality and the sound of our guitars Tuomas decided to order anouther Mayo guuitar. This time it was Regius 6 Baritone model featuring similar specs as his first Setius: Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck combined with '59 pickup, Q-Parts Celtic Weave knobs and again his own face tatoo inspired custom inlays.
